Issue 45 of Online Mountain Bike Magazine IMB Mag has dropped just in time for Christmas. This issue is packed full of the usual Mountain Bike Features and Bike Tests. However, for one youngster Christmas has come early as Kona sponsored DeVo Rider Kenzie Nevard gets his first Magazine Feature.
Of course anyone that’s follows DeVo through our social media or has seen the DeVo Riders training on Aston Hill will know that Kenzie is a stand out talent. The IMB article is a fantastic springboard for Kenzie as he continues to race in the Ripper Category with an eye on what he’ll be able to do when he reaches the older age groups over the next few years. We’ve been lucky enough to Coach some fast young riders that have come through our DeVo Programme and Kenzie is on par with DeVo’s most famous alumni to date Phil Atwill who came along on his first DeVo way back in the early 2000’s and is now knocking on the door of the top 10 at the UCI Downhill Mountain Bike World Cups.
Kenzie has been a regular on our DeVo Programme for the last couple of years and it’s great to see him getting the coverage he deserves though the Mountain Bike Media. He’s back with Kona in 2017 and we are proud to be providing Skills Training and Support through Firecrest Mountain Biking.
One things for sure with the way Kenzie’s going this might be his first Magazine feature but it certainly won’t be his last and he’s got a bright future ahead of him that’s for sure.
