Firecrest MTB – DeVo Level2 Road Trip – BikePark Wales – 15.08.24

Firecrest Mountain Biking’s Young Rider Development Programme’s (DeVo) is on the road. With Aston Hill Bike Park staying closed we are heading to BikePark Wales for day at one of the UK’s top BikeParks.

Course Details

The day trip to BikePark Wales is for Mountain Bikers aged from 12 years to 18 years old its recommended that you are a DeVo Level2 Regular having attended at least 3 DeVo Level2 courses in the last 6 months.

We will be riding the trails at BikePark Wales under the watchful eye of Firecrest MTB’s highly experienced staff.

The trails at BikePark Wales offer something for everyone with a range of graded mountain bike trails. We’ll also be using the Uplift so there’s no riding or pushing to be done to get back to the top for another run!

We’ll meet outside the Visitor `Welcome Centre at BikePark Wales for 9.15am prompt you’ll need to arrange your own travel but there may be the option to lift share.

NB: This course requires participants to have and wear their own Full Face Helmets with gloves and knee pads as a minimum level of protection. You’ll also have to sign (or get your parents to sign) BikePark Wales Acceptance of Risk form prior to arrving at the Park. There’s a link to this in the booking confirmation e-mail.

Despite the opening round of the 2024 Mountain Bike Downhill World Cup of the year taking place over the weekend there’s still chance to enter the Firecrest MTB Pinkbike Fantasy League.

All you need to do is to have a team set up or set up your team for the next round in Poland and then sign up to our Fantasy League.

With DeVo Level1 on the morning of Tuesday 28th May from 10am – 12pm for beginner to intermediate riders from 8 – 12 years of age.

DeVo Evo on the afternoon of Tuesday 28th May from 1pm to 3pm for intermediate to advanced riders.

DeVo Level2 all day on Thursday 30th May from 10am – 4pm for riders from 11-16yrs of age.
